Having loading Loading nVidia nF4 raid Silicon Image 3114 drivers. After setup disk 4, I get an error message: Unable to locate "nvraid.sys".

Anyone ever run into this? What to do? :eek1:

Try to be little more specific as to what you are doing, are you loading windows?, why are there 4 setup disks?, nvraid.sys is refering to the nVdia raid driver's be it IDE or SATA, now you say you are trying to set it up on sillicon right my guess is that you are plugged into the wrong SATA plugs make sure you plug into the purple one's (i am not sure if that's universal) then load the nvidia raid driver instead, sillicon is not quite as fast.

Ok. I've got 6 floppy setup disks, on disk 1.Then I press f6 to load the SI raid drivers. At disk 4 it asks for the floppy w/ the drivers in it.
Now, it asks to to put in disk 4, then the error: Unable to locate "nvraid.sys". To press any key, reboots the system.
