Ghetto-tastic X700 mod
This may seem silly, but please bear with me. ; )
I OC'ed what little my Sapphire X700 would allow. But this obviously caused a temp increase that makes me uncomfortable. Granted, 65c under full load probably wouldn't kill it, but it makes me nervous. So until I find a job, I took an old 80mm cpu fan and taped it on top of the stock cooler. It decreases the temps as it should, but the former is the problem. It's taped to my video card. I vaguely remember LiLbRo doing some kind of ghetto mod to cool his videocard. Anyone have any easy, maybe effective, and just as free suggestions?
