No network driver for 4600

I reformatted my HDD a Dell 4600, and all drivers installed off the Dell system disk except the Ethernet drivers. I have tried many times through normal installs to no avail. I have also gone through the device manager to no avail.

Problem is no internet............Any suggestions ???

Go to dell's site and get the drivers for it. Then burn them to cd and install it. There is most like a couple different drivers for that computer so get them all. That's the only way you'll be able to get them. I have to do this all the time at work if we buy refurbished dells.

The chipset drivers, audio drivers, vid drivers all loaded fine. The device manager doesn't show the Ethernet controller installed. I go into network connections and there is no internet icon, nothing. I need the Ethernet controller driver and don't know where to get it. The Dell site doesn't make it very clear what drivers are what. :horn:
