My XP Home equipted pc has been taking a long long time to shut down. Sometimes after 20mins I give up and do the no-no (pwr button). I have no more programs running then I did before this started. I did check the windows Task Manager to see what was running and was blown away by the amount of things listed. Some I dont recall installing like 2 or 3 I-Tunes listings. Courous, I went to my WinXP Pro machine and have waht looks like near the same amount running and that one shuts down in under a minite.
ANy ideas ? Bruce
