ok this is probably a dumb question, but Im wondering how I can install windows on a compact flash card. I have a couple old games I really really want to play again that will not run in xp. The compact flash is connected bia usb cable. I just want to be able to have windows 95 on the card, so it makes it easy to boot from, instead of having to have 2 hard drives one with xp and one with 98

anyway, I dont think you can directly install it to the card, but how about if I install it to my hard drive, then copy/clone it to the memory card???

if I can that would be sweet, all Id have to do is change the boot order to boot from the usb device....

thanks for the help

if your computer will boot off of compact flash then you can just tell win98 to install onto it.

I don't think it would be that hard. I have friends with an itty-bitty linux distro on thumbdrives they carry around in case of an unsolvable M$ emergency. If your computer can boot off of a CF drive, it should be as easy as pie.
