I would like a PC designed around that processor (If you guys have a better one in mind, tell me and I'll look at it. It has to be Dual Core and 64 bit preferably AMD.)

And a 7800GTX in the computer as well.

My spending limit is $1500 so.. there goes about $1000, but again if you guys think that he can overclock the 3800 X2 or something please suggest it!

And 2GB of ram please.

HD about 160GB. I don't know what RAID.

This is a gaming PC for my friend. Please :)

Could you tell me which cooling componenets he should get?

No water cooling and it shouldn't be too loud.

And he also needs a hard drive... so.. help me out please because I haven't done this in a while :P

The Asetek Vapochill Micro's are looking nicer and nicer the more reviews I read. They are quite big which scares some people (pussies) but from what I have read the low noise version with the fan control is near silent.

As for a drive, some sort of SATA drive with about 200gb of storage should be a good start.

Really depends on budget and personal preference I guess...
