I need MSI Motherboard Drivers

edited December 2005 in Science & Tech
Thank You for your help in advance. People like Gnomewizard and Kryyst have been unbelieveable in the past. I just inherited a 2200 Celeron Computer with an MSI motherboard and 512 ram. I know its slow compared to the fast machines you use, but I just wanted to use it as a back up internet cruiser and wordprocessor. I want to wipe the hardrive clean and do a fresh windows XP install but I don't have the motherboard MSI drivers to reload. How do I indentify the MSI model on the motherboard itself so I can possibly find them on the internet? Is there a way to save the drivers that are on the motherboard to a disc?? Thank You for any advice and Merry Christmas!!

If you open the case and look carefully at the mobo you will see the model of the mobo between the pci slots or between the cpu and the ram (i think in MSI is between cpu and ram). When you find the model got to http://www.msi.com.tw/index.htm and do a search for drivers. Download them and copy them on a cd if you want them for buckup.
