Yes, Windows update shows them for me. But will the new driver package make anything better on my PC? I don't want to change anything if it's running ok, unless I'm getting some advantage from it.

If you're having no problems then there is no immediate need to upgrade your drivers. But in most cases, especially when Microsoft have a particular update certified, newer equals better. Stability wise, performance wise etc etc.
I've been running these drivers on my RAID 0 array since this thread was originally started, with no problems whatsoever.
Cool, Thnx Spinner. I'll load the new sata drivers when I redo all my pc's, which I hope is very soon. Just have to find time. My main pc is going RAID 0 with 2 WD raptors.
Hi Guys. I still have problems. Installing Dreamweaver will crash my pc to a black screen. Windows says it's a driver problem. Using latest driver on windows update. Any ideas

I have the SiI 3112 as well with raid0 raptors on it... everything has been fine until i upgraded to a gigabit lan... now any file over 2mb is corrupted. is there a new bios out there?
Yeah I have that 1.0.0.50 driver, but what about a new bios? im using that driver and im getting the errors.
Sorry, you asked for bios and I posted a drivers thread... :banghead:
The latest is v.4247 (attached) but you have to modified your motherboard bios in order to update.
Do you know how to do it? if not, I can do it for you if you tell me which mobo and bios version are you using.
