How to remove annoying toolbar?

edited January 2006 in Science & Tech
I am using Windows XP professional and Mircrosoft Office XP. About 3 months ago, I installed a bonus software that came with a hardware. After installation, a special tool bar with special icon for that software appear on the Excel program. I seldom used that software and so I uninstall the software. But the special tool bar with special icon is still there. I have tried to delete it by going to "view", "tool bar", "customize"..., but it is still there whenever I start Excel. Can someone please tell me how I can get rid of it permanently?

First is it only showing up in Excel or is it in Word and Power Point also?

In any case in Excel check under Tools > Add-Ins and see if it's in there.

Also if you could give us the name of the toolbar/program that put it there it may help if that doesn't work.

    Thanks for your reply.

It only show up in Excel. I can see it is also in Word, but it is just an option for me to choose in "view", "toolbar". If I do not choose it in Word, it will not show up. I cannot find it in Power Point.

I have checked under Tools > Add-Ins and it is not there.

The name of the toolbar/program is Transtar which is a software for translation.
