No scroll bar in new window that opens from clicking on link inside a hotmail email

Just fresh installed Windows XP Pro. Not had a problem like this before. Whenever I click on a link in an email in Hotmail account, the new window that opens doesn't have a vertical scroll bar, even if there's content beyond the window dimensions. Only way to scroll is to highlight-drag the text onscreen below the visible content, or click on scroll wheel on mouse so that the up/down arrow appears on screen then move mouse up or down. Anyone have a fix for this? Like I said, never had this problem before. Installed XP many times before this.

I take it you have scroll bars in IE when you first start it up and that you are only loosing the scroll bars when it opens up the new window? If you click a none hotmail link from another page and it pops up a new IE window do you have scroll bars there also?

That is correct Kryyst. But today problem has gone. I had done nothing in terms of config change. Just another boot session of Windows. Prob just a glitch. Thx anyway.
