Whats the deal with video card drivers. Respectively nVidia and ATI both run .net framework, and it takes an absurdly long time for any computer I've worked on to bring up the driver window. Anyone else see the point in this? Could we not just make gpu drivers add a tab to the display properties?

    Yea what is up with this? Why do the new drivers need NET Framework? What is NET framework? what does it do?

    I'll have to check my system but I just installed the latest forcewav drivers for Nvidia and I'm fairly certain that I don't have .net enabled.
