Can I use Powerpoint, which is installed on my LapTop, on my DeskTop?

    No. Unless you install it on your laptop or use VNC to use it remotely on your Desktop.

    Now another option is you could get and install Openoffice and just use that on your laptop. It's compatible with MS Office products.

    its no big deal...I have the CD...just dont have PP installed on my desktop and it is on the LT....so will just have to dig out the CD...thx for the info
