memory cleaner

Can anyone recommend a good memory cleaner? I Just want to try it.

    Wiseass. No I just want to prove that those memory cleaners don't work.

    It's true I was being a wise ass. But I mean that's the reality the only true memory cleaner is to turn the power off. If your machine is running there is something in memory. A memory cleaner - uses memory by the definition of how a computer works a memory cleaner does nothing. They are about as useful as programs that 'double' your hard drive space by compressing everything or doubling your ram by just dumping more to swap.

    No mater how good the software is they are still limited by the maximums of hardware and hardware states if this machine is running there's something in memory. You turn the machine off let it sit and your memory is cleared. There is nothing resident.
