Xbox to pc Cable?

I know that this is probably a stupid question. But is there like a pc to xbox cable (or something like that)that you hook up because otherwise how could you download emulators, skins, files etc. If you have an answer please tell me and if you know a good place to get one i'd appreaciate that too.:thumbsup:

    Your kinda tiring.

    You connect the xbox to your network and ftp into it. Simple as that.

    kinda for got about this post but anyway ok so i know where to get one of those crossover cables. So can't i just connect it to my xbox and pc and shouldn't it reconize the xbox's hd?

    You should be able to connect an xbox to your pc with a crossover cable and then make sure that the IP on your xbox is in the same subnet as your pc. You can then FTP from your pc to your xbox. That's the only bi-directional mode of communication. You can't simply connect your xbox to your PC and then just read the drive like it's an external drive.
