Samsung SD-616T or the Samsung SD-616T SDG-605 Drive?

Does anybody know which replacement dvd drive for the xbox is better ,the Samsung SD-616T or the Samsung SD-616T SDG-605?

    Is your current drive dead? If not why bother replacing it. If you are playing games off the HDD anyway then having a faster DVD drive won't really help except when copying games to the HDD and that's a waste of money for that speed increase.

    Not at the moment but i'm thinking for the future if and when my drive is dead and i can't find a replacement then volla I have a backup or even just to flat upgrade it to a faster more reliable drive.

    Nothing wrong with planning ahead. But from experience I have a version 1.1 xbox and my dvd drive hasn't died yet - nor have any of my friends that have units just as old.
