ZoneAlarm
has prevented access to port 67 on your computer

ZoneAlarm stopped Internet or local network traffic from reaching your computer. No breach in your security has occurred. Your computer is safe.

What happened?
ZoneAlarm blocked a probe to port 67. This is most likely your ISP's DHCP server requesting authentication so it can issue you an IP address. If you received an alert that ZoneAlarm is blocking broadcast address 255.255.255.255 then that is confirmation your computer is asking for an address assignment from a DHCP server.

Should I be concerned?
No. You will need to configure ZoneAlarm to accept the incoming DHCP renewal request.

What should I do?
You may need to configure ZoneAlarm to allow DHCP renewals to access computer. Please refer to the Details tab for more information.

Anyone have some tips for more hard-drive space I only have 5 GB hard-dive I need some help.

Come on now I know enough about back doors and port scanning and port probes hackers use ,This post should not be taken with grain of salt .

I know enought that it is time for me to format this infected PC.There is some thing very strange going on with this computer.
ZoneAlarm prevented access to port 520 on your computer

ZoneAlarm has stopped Internet or local traffic from reaching your computer. No breach in your security has occurred. Your computer is safe.
    What happened?

ZoneAlarm blocked a scan against port 520. Scans of this nature are random on the Internet and it is likely the scan was not targeted against your computer specifically.

    Should I be concerned?
No. The access attempt was specifically looking for a Windows NT server in which to carry out at attack against Router Information Protocol services. Even if you are running Windows NT, RIP is not active by default so your computer is not necessarily susceptible to such attacks.

    What should I do?
No action is necessary. The individual who initiated the port scan has likely moved on to find another unprotected computer using Windows NT with RIP services running.

I have 3 solutions for malware removal try to remove it and hope it is gone or format the computer but even still there are programs to bring back deleted data or take hamer to the hard-drive .I'm lucky most of the computers are so old they are on there way to trash.Well Windows 98 is trash in fact all windows is trash.

There is no point in salvaging an win9x installation anymore. Sure it may be fun to have it sitting on a machine for nostalgia, much in the same way people still support Amiga's - hell a new Amiga OS is on it's way out. But it's a dead OS. MS is no longer supporting it with any security fixes. Most hardware vendors have stopped supporting it and most games no longer support it.

Best thing to do to that machine is to wipe it and install linux on it.

Yeah but NetBSD you can't do anything with. I was actually trying to be helpful when I suggested just installing linux. Get Ubuntu up and running and he'd be laughing.

Don't misunderstand me, I wasn't mocking him nor his equipment. I was just referring to a joke I heard. But yeah, linux is a great way to reclaim old pc's and make them useful as atleast a tool to learn.
