PlayStation 2 USB 2.0 External Hard Drive Enclosure

Just curious if anyone out there has heard of or used one of these. I found it at www.modchipstore.com. I just wanted if you needed a copy of the latest HDAdvance to run copyed games of the hard drive. Oh and I might as well ask what modchip do you need to run this PS2 HD Enclosure anyway?. Also I have a slim PS2 so that's the only reason why I'm going this route is because this is the only "way" that I know of how to connect a hard drive to a slim PS2. If anybody know's any other ways how to succesfully hook up a hard drive to a slim PS2 let me know.
