Alright. I got a friend with a Socket A system that goes through short burst of lock ups. It will be okay for a few seconds, then lock up for any where from five seconds to twenty minutes...and it does it constantly.

Got any ideas for me?

You checked the basics? Memtest, virus, spyware, defrag, scan disk, turning off the indexer service and remove the index flag indexing any drives.

Then try making it a static IP connection and removing any mappings to external devices that aren't there.

    Most likely there's either:

1 - a driver conflict/incomaptibility, especially check for chipset and usb driver updates

    2 - bad memory

    3 - failing cpu

    4 - bad karma lol

It's alright, I replaced the machine with my Doppelganger box (Which means I need donations now..) and I proceded to blow it the hell up. The processor was bad, because he screwed around and overclocked it on an incompatible board.
