If I remember correctly you can burn them to an iso and copy the iso to the ps2 and it'll play it off the iso. You can't just do a straight copy of the cd because ps1 games often have an audio track and a data track that a straight copy won't pick up.
Hi again it's been awhile since we were on this topic but I just wanted to ask how do you burn the the PS1 game to an ISO? For example what software do I have to use?, and how to I bypass the copyright protection. A quick step by step would be nice. thanks
You're the first person I've called a Goddammed idiot in a long time. Congratulations.
If you can't use the most popular tool in the world (Google) then please do not ask here. Most of the stupid questions you ask are covered in forums dedicated to that type of misdeed.
As for your incredibly inane questions, I'll go ahead and answer them for you.
1: You use an image burning software. Back in the day I used Firestarter, which is old, and was cool at th time since it burned images to discs very quickly and required little in memory. There is no "Protection" on those discs, there's two files that vary from game to game that are written in the varitable boot sector of the cd. I do not have the means, nor 'give-a-damn' right now to help you with that.
2: You use HD Advance, which you purchased to mod your PS2, unless you bought a mod chip.
Well sorry for wasting your time...And thanks for answering my questions anyway. The last thing I wanted to know(and I hope it's not to stupid for you) is I alread have my PS2 modded with a DMS4 Pro modchip, so I don't use Hd Advance because my modchip is flashed with TOxicOS. So am I supposed to hook up my PS2 to my PC and then just transfer the ISO to hard drive and then just play it off the ISO?
Check the documentation included with your mod-chip, or go to a dedicated modding forum, as I told you to do. This place is for generalized computer assistance and discussion thereof. Not console modding and theft of games.
