Ok all, I just got new work PC issued...and whoever set it up must have been blind...however I am drawing a blank on how to set this all right...

Usually I like 1024x768 setting.....however that blows everything up so big that it looks like its in 640...Some one help me out here?

I did the usually adjustment...but on 1400x1050 stuff is still huge...Someone?

TIA,

BUD

Rightclick the desktop, and go to properties. Last tab man.

I thought by me saying what i did you would have known that I have all ready done that....

Its set up on 1400x1050...the freakin screen should be barely legible....however its not...im telling you the guy that set this up must have been blind...

There has to be something else...I have already been adjusting it by item....but now even the like X/restore/minamixe things are huge...what did this idiot do...I should be able to just adjust the resolution but thats not doing it!

Oh, sorry. I misread that. Try going into the appearances tab, and setting the font size to normal, and if that doesn't work get ahold of one of the nerds and make him fix it. I'm pretty sure what you need to use is in the display properties though. I've had to do that once, just a long time ago.

When you set the resolution to 1400x is everything on the screen or does the screen scroll around as you move towards the edges?
