Favicon - in address bar, not bookmark list

Anyone else notice that Icrontic's favicon appears in the address bar but not in your bookmark list? (FF2).

Try this:

Go to http://www.pcper.com/ and bookmark it. Then click the bookmark. No favicon in your bookmarks still, right?

Go to http://www.bit-tech.net/ and repeat. Tada, the favicon appears in your bookmark list.

I have NO idea what the difference is. Neither declares the favicon location in the page head. Any ideas how to make it appear consistently? :-/

I code a whole CMS and get stumped by the favicon... :shakehead

    It appears in my Favorites in IE7 ;)

    Yeah, it works for me in IE6 too, I just can't get it to work in FF. :(

    I've noticed that too. I have several sites with favicons in my favorites, but only about 4 don't show up. bugzilla?

    I think if you set the page to appear offline it will appear... most times it just pops up a few days after I bookmark...
