Recommend a stable, cheap AM2 board?
A friend of mine is getting one of his local friends to build him a computer, and he ran the specs by me. Everything seemed fine, except the guy's choice of motherboard - an ECS board that has gotten some pretty scary reviews at Newegg. I believe those reviews, too, because I built his old Socket A system with an ECS board (K7S5A), and it shot sparks out the USB ports.
Anyway, I haven't been paying attention to the AM2 platform. Can anyone recommend a stable and affordable (sub $100) AM2 board? Overclockability not necessary.
