So I am gonna give it a shot tonight when I get home, I am no Linux guy... but I am more than willing to give new toys a good home until I decide if it is worth it.
Anyone else see this yet? Use it? What are your impressions?

Also I forgot to mention for guys like me who cannot for their own life figure out how to install a god damned thing in Linux, having these tools already installed is nice. But it also has a very pleasing windows like GUI, I don't like the normal KDE or Gnome GUI's.... I am sure it's one of those but the theme is nice....
I don't know jack about Linux, but this is one I am willing to give another shot at... hopefully it's easy to use, and hopfully this time around I can get wine or other programs to work with my windows apps/games.

I mean this laptop is supposedly linux friendly, it's not brand spankin new hardware at all. It's an X700 Radeon Mobility with a Pentium M 2GHz... what the hell is wrong!?
All things said and done this new Flavor of Linux "looks nice", but I've been fooled before! Vista, Linux, other versions of Linux, various flavors of said Linux... all curse my name, spit in my face and laugh behind my back.
Hopefully it'll be different this time around, because it's sooo purty, and it actually looks like my graphics drivers are installed. Now to figure out how to install Unreal Tournament 2004.
