The boys at Intel have done it again with their System Recovery Tool. A feature built right into the BIOS of upcoming chipsets allows a user to create an image of any partition and/or full drive on their PC. This image can be backed up to CD, DVD or another hard drive all with the touch of a few buttons. No complicated programs, no operating systems, just the BIOS. Crazy!

Dang- this is welcome news indeed. However, I wonder if the images are portable between systems? :?

Think bigger - if this then could also be activated through pxe - you turn on a computer it finds an image server and it loads up automatically and can back itself up automatically all through bios level controls.
