Help me if you can.....

Hey guys,

My computer has begun to run a lot slower than normal. I have done all the normal cleanings....spyware, virus, msconfig, registry cleaning, temp files, etc....I also have anywhere from 8-12 entries of SVCHOST.EXE in the process window at any given time....not sure if this is linked to the slowness but here is a HJT Log. Your help is appreciated in advance....

    Hi melhoff13

Sorry you've been left for a while without reply. We get overrun at times.

Anyway the log looks clean and you don't have many programs running so maybe the slowness is a hardware issue.

For instance ... how's your RAM?

You are a Vista user so I would wonder ... did you "upgrade" or get this computer with Vista pre-installed? If you upgraded did you check that your kit is able to run Vista efficiently?

Certainly from my point of view I think perhaps you would be better off asking the question in either the "General hardware" or "General software" forum.

However, maybe others in this forum have more suggestions.
