iTunes Instability

Today I've been ripping a bunch of cd's i had laying around the house using iTunes. During it i've had AIM, F@H, and iTunes running. I was both playing songs off my hdd while ripping songs from my dvd-rom. I think this is the 3rd time it's crashed on me.

When it crashes it takes the whole system with it. I lowered my oc to no affect. I doubt it's my oc since I tested it with prime95 for 24+ hours and it didn't crash then.

If anyone has had any problems with iTunes and instabilty please comment here. I'm running Windows XP SP1 and I am using iTunes ver. 4.1.1.54. I'll see if there's a newer version out, but this is truly bugging me.

Nick

The instability is caused by the application being created by Apple.

It takes down the whole system in a secret attempt by the cored ones.. to make you think your PC is unstable and convince you to change to a mac.

i've had that too. just minor stuff, but occasionally it just drops the whole system. no idea what causes it, next time i'll give specifics.

I've been using iTunes quite a bit and haven't experienced it yet, but it sounds like I will be.... I'll post when I do....
