First run through all the steps here ....

    http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic18610.html

Next ... java. Your Java is a little out of date. Older versions have vulnerabilities that malware can use to infect your system. Please follow these steps to remove older version Java components and update.

    Updating Java:
    • Download the latest version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6.
    • Scroll down to where it says "The J2SE Runtime Environment (JRE) allows end-users to run Java applications"…..

      Java6.jpg
    • Click the "Download" button to the right.
    • Check the box that says: "Accept License Agreement".
    • The page will refresh.
    • Click on the link to download Windows Offline Installation with or without Multi-language and save to your desktop.
    • Close any programs you may have running - especially your web browser.
    • Go to Start > Control Panel double-click on Add/Remove programs and remove all older versions of Java.
    • Check any item with Java Runtime Environment (JRE or J2SE) in the name.
    • Click the Remove or Change/Remove button.
    • Repeat as many times as necessary to remove each Java versions.
    • Reboot your computer once all Java components are removed.
    • Then from your desktop double-click on jre-6u1-windows-i586-p.exe to install the newest version.

Lastly please download and install SUPERAntiSpyware
    • Load SUPERAntiSpyware and click the Check for Updates button.
    • Once the update has finished, exit SUPERAntiSpyware. Please do NOT run a scan yet!

IMPORTANT: Do NOT open any other windows or programs while SUPERAntiSpyware is scanning, it may interfere with the scanning process.
    • Open SUPERAntiSpyware and click the Scan your Computer button.
    • Check Perform Complete Scan and then click Next.
    • SUPERAntiSpyware will now scan your computer and when it’s finished it will list all the infections it has found.
    • Make sure that they all have a check next to them, and then click Next.
    • Click Finish and you will be taken back to the main interface.
    • It could be possible that it will ask you to reboot your computer in order to delete some files after reboot.
    • I'll need a log afterwards of what has been found.
    • To get the log, click Preferences and then click the Statistics/Logs tab. Click the dated log and press View Log and a text file will appear.
    • Please post a fresh HJT log and the results of the SUPERAntiSpyware log in your next reply.

Please also give us an update on how the computer is operating now.

Please confirm you have carried out the instructions I suggested in post #2 (the Bleeping Computer removal and Superantispyware scan).

I also want you to run VundoFix.

Download VundoFix.exe to your desktop from here .....

    http://www.atribune.org/ccount/click.php?id=4

    * Double-click VundoFix.exe to run it.
    * Put a check next to Run VundoFix as a task.
    * You will receive a message saying vundofix will close and re-open in a minute or less. Click OK
    * When VundoFix re-opens, click the Scan for Vundo button.
    * Once it's done scanning, click the Remove Vundo button.
    * You will receive a prompt asking if you want to remove the files, click YES
    * Once you click yes, your desktop will go blank as it starts removing Vundo.
    * When completed, it will prompt that it will shutdown your computer, click OK.
    * Turn your computer back on.

It will save a scan report called vundofix.txt on your C:drive.

In your next post please include ...

    >> the contents of C:\vundofix.txt
    >> a fresh HJT log

    >> confirmation that you have run the Bleeping Computer & Superantispyware instructions.

Please also update us on how the computer is behaving now.

umm i can't post my antivirus log cos im not allowed

    i can't post links i dunno????
  • edited June 2007
The scan reports & logs should save in Notepad or another simple text-based program like HJT does. Then you should be able to just "copy & paste" the logs here as you do with your HJT logs.

Other than that ... I don't know of any problems.

Try again, post back and update us.
