As TheInq reports, Linus Torvalds continues with his disapproval of the new GPL v3 licensing model. With elements to undermine the Novell-Microsoft partnership and blanket-ban DRM schema, Torvalds claims it's more "Religion" than sense.
Agreed with Mr. Torvalds. v3's bleeding-heart "wouldn't everything be nice if we shared" language means anything with any GPL3'd code at all would have to be friendly to modification. Which means commercial use of open-source code suddenly becomes very risky.
