Mozilla oddness.

Hi all,
I have just had to reformat and reinstall Mozilla firefox 2 and it has a strange quirk. If I open it I go to my home page (yahoo) but there are two tabs at the top, then go to another site then home again and there are three tabs. Every time I go to a site then return home I get another home page tab. I've looked through all the options but can't see anything that could cause this.
Any ideas?

Wow that is odd..I once had a problem when it'd forget my bookmarks and would constantly resize itself. Turned out to be bad memory.

When you start out are both pages your home tab? And are both tabs the same. I know when you first install FF it starts with 2 tabs, one is your actual home tab and another is the tab for the Firefox default page. Normally though you just close it and get on with your life.

Try changing your home page in properties to say www.google.com and see if that helps.

    Sorted.
When I first set my home page I just went to it, options, home page, use current, and it filled in the URL. What I didn't notice was that the URL was longer than normal. I deleted it and typed it in myself, now it works as it should. Maybe just a bug?

edit, both tabs were for yahoo.

In firefox you can specify a bookmark or bookmark group as your home page so if you have a bookmark group that had yahoo in it twice that'd do it.
