All real hax0rs know that <strike>Gaim</strike> <a href="http://pidgin.im/pidgin/home/">Pidgin</a&gt; is superior to Trillian. However, for those of you using Trillian make sure and update to the latest version.

On Monday, Cerulean Studios released a "highly critical" security update for Trillian. Apparently past versions, 3.1.5.1 specifically, <a href="http://news.zdnet.com/2100-1009_22-6191893.html">contains a bug</a> where <i>"Attackers could then potentially launch a buffer overflow and remotely gain control of a user's system"</i>.

Grab the <a href="http://www.ceruleanstudios.com/downloads/">latest version</a>.

Thanks for the heads up but you don't have to download anything, just restart Trillian and it will patch.

Oops, thanks for the update on that :P

I haven't used Trillian in a good 2 or 3 years, forgot about that.

    Thanks :D
