Pain in the ass IE7.

I go to alot of different sites that have different content, such as sites that use embedded flash, and I'm tired of having to click the damn thing to get it to start, or sites that open a window for a flash object, and IE7 just outright stops it. I've screwed with it, there's nothing in the settings to prevent this from happening.

It's like Microsoft is trying to insult NA's and other knowledgable people by telling us even though we know where it's coming from we still can't do it. I wouldn't even use IE7, if firefox would STOP deleting my bookmarks.

Why do I need to reinstall windows? I know why firefox keeps deleting my bookmarks, there's just nothing I can do about it.

Care to elaborate? It's doing something it's not supposed to. There should be a way to fix it.

Oh firefox is working to spec, it's just my sensor is causing random restarts when it's probed. There's nothing I can do about that save for rip my sensor out, or replace my board. But I'd like to get IE7 working normal and not insulting me by saying "YOU CANNAE USE THIS! YOU'RE TOO DUMB TO UNDERSTAND THE THREAT IT MAY BE EVEN THOUGH IT'S HOMESTARRUNNER.COM LULZ"

Ah This is why I love linux
    su
    cd /usr/src/linux-2.6.21.5
    make menuconfig

Device Drivers>HardWare Monitoring Support> AMD Athlon 64/FX/opteron sensor

Then I just change it from <*> to < >

    save

    exit

    make-kpkg clean
    fakeroot make-kpkg --revision=custom.1.0 kernel_image
    cd ..
    dpkg -i linux-2.6.21.5-custom.1.0_kernel_image
    reboot

    Ah Gota love linux :)

Anyways I suggested a windows reinstalation because most of the time people complane about drivers or firefox its caused by other software on the machines.

Plus its a good habit to do a fresh install every few months with windows.

I believe that from version 8 you are able to use web based settings rather than local browser settings.

Check out this info at Adobe
    http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager.html#117196

    hope this helps :)
