Yet another Ultimate Fixer invasion!

Hi, all...

I am running XP SP2, have tons of software, been at it a while. Running Avast, Search and Destroy, got rid of Norton's, wasn't working for me, and Ad-Aware just dumped every time I tried it. Spyware Doctor is my latest attempt, sees everything, got rid of a lot, but can't seem to get rid of Ultimate Fixer.

Here's my HJT log - first time I've used it, so don't know too much, but see that everyone asks for it here...

    :)Hi rcav8or
Welcome to icrontic Malware Removal Forum.
My name is peku006 and I will be assisting you.

Looking over your log, it seems you don't have any evidence of a third party firewall.
You aren't running Firewall Software. Please download and install one of them first!
Use a Firewall - Without a firewall your computer is susceptible to being hacked and taken over. If you use the Windows Firewall you might think that's sufficient but it only controls one way of the traffic (inbound/outbound not sure). Simply using a Firewall in its default configuration can lower your risk greatly. For an article on Firewalls and a listing of some available ones see the link below:
Computer Safety On line - Software Firewalls
I use ZoneAlarm Free Edition (which is free for personal use) but you might just prefer something different!
As you did this, we can begin with the fix.

    P2P Warning!
Please note that as long as you are using any form of Peer-to-Peer networking and downloading files from non-documented sources, you can expect infestations of malware to occur
Once upon a time, P2P file sharing was fairly safe. That is no longer true. You may continue to use P2P sharing at your own risk; however, please keep in mind that this practice may be the source of your current malware infestation
Additional information on the safety of Peer to Peer programs themselves is here :
    Clean/Infected P2P Programs
Please decide if you want to keep using P2P so I can put it in my next speech of you don't want to keep it.

    Please do the following...
    1: Rename HijackThis

There is probably an infection which is hiding part of the HijackThis log because it's called hijackthis.exe.
    Please rename hijackthis.exe to scanner.exe
    Right-click on HijackThis.exe & select Rename to scanner.exe

    Step 2: Delete bad programs
    • Click Start
    • Go to Control Panel
    • Go to Add/Remove Programs
    • Find and click Remove for the following (if present):

      MywebSearch
Step 3: Remove bad HijackThis entries
    • Run HijackThis
    • Click on the Scan button
    • Put a check beside all of the items listed below (if present):

Note: It is possible that VundoFix encountered a file it could not remove.
In this case, VundoFix will run on reboot, simply follow the above instructions starting from "Click the Scan for Vundo button." when VundoFix appears at reboot.

Finally, please post a fresh HijackThis log, and C:\vundofix.txt
