Strange bedfellows ink 32nm accord

IBM, a firm that specializes in the technology to produce CPUs, and BASF, a firm that specializes in applied chemicals have come to an agreement. Under the terms, both firms will work towards a 32nm lithography process by 2010, hoping to beat Intel to the punch. Intel, the world's leader in CPUs, is expected to produce 32nm chips by 2009.
