DELL PC parallel port problem
I set up the POS system for our restaurant and the one thing I that screwed me over was ordering from Dell... Instead of getting the complete package from PCAmerica, I bought the system from dell, getting the new core 2 duo that had no ps/2 mouse and keyboard slots, or serial and parallel ports. I didnt know I need the parallel port until the thermal printers came and then I found out that that you can use any adapters, it has to be straight parallel/serial
my problem:
Im trying to get the second printer, parallel one, to work. I put in the Netmos parallel card Dell sent to me and installed the drivers from the CD they supplied. Since it does not show LPT1 or anything when i try to add a printer, that means I have to check for the EEP/ECP in the bios right? which one will fit my needs?
and for people who have experience with epson thermal printers, can you make the font larger? do you have to call Epson?
Thanks
