Do I have everything needed...

Firewall - Comodo

Anti-Virus - AVG

Anti-Spyware - Spyware Blaster, Spybot Search & Destroy

Tweaking - CCleaner

How many more programs do I need to make sure my computer stays clean and secure? A few people have told me I need several anti-spyware programs.

A few questions...
1: Do I use Spybot S&D 1.5 BETA version or Spybot S&D 1.4?
2: With Spyware programs, can I use the resident shield with two or three or can they conflict with each other?

Thanks for the help.

Chances are you really don't even need firewall software. If you are behind a hardware firewall (ie using a Dlink router) that is usually sufficient. However, if the software isn't giving you any issues I can't hurt.

The list of utils you have should keep you running smoothly. It all depends on your browsing habits though. The type of sites you visit will either make you or break you. (random pr0n sites, warez, etc)

For the spyware programs, specifically Spybot, I have found the real time protection to be worthless. I keep it turned off.

What's the best protection against keyloggers? Is SpywareBlaster adequate enough?

    Thanks for your help.

    Any good anti-virus should do.

One thing I notice missing is a good backup routine. If you have Windows Vista, the backup that is included is sufficient. If you use XP, I recommend Acronis TrueImage.
