Is this just a stupid idea that wont work?

Right - I have my PC in room A, and I have my bedroom around 10m away from the PC in Room A... in a different room...

SO... I could get a 10m SVHS cable and connect it to my TV - thus see the screen of the PC from my bedroom... and sound too if necessary.

However - is there any way I can control it?! - is there such a thing as a wireless mouse and keyboard that can work over a long range, and through walls?!!

    Get a bluetooth device. If you have a sony ericsson then you will probably now about HID. Use it.
