Annoying Pop-ups, that hinder me doing things online.

Ok, a few days ago, my FireFox wasn't working, so I was using IE, and I somehow got Spyware on my PC. Everytime I now use FireFox or Safari, some dumb IE pop-ups keep coming up, which interfere with what I'm doing. So, I downloaded AVG, scanned and removed tons of it, then scanned again, removed some more, and I plan on doing it once more.

After the first two times, the Pop-ups were still there, so I deleted as much of the Internet Explorer folder I could. I properly un-installed it, then simply deleted the remaining things, however, I could not delete Connection Wizard. It said it was being used by another program, and I didn't think it was.

I keep scanning, keep removing, and still the pop-ups. This is a problem, as I'm trying to use macros, but the pop-ups mess them up. I've installed Hijackthis, and that doesn't help it either.

I need help semi-fast. Please, any help would be appreciated.

    ========

    Maybe you want some information about sending HijackThis log

    Download Hijackthis ver. 1.99.1 from HERE and save it to your Desktop.
    Double click on the HJTsetup.exe icon on your desktop.
    By default it will install to C:\Program Files\HijackThis.
    Continue to click Next in the setup dialogue boxes until you get to the "Select Addition Tasks" dialogue.
    Put a check by Create a desktop icon then click Next again.
    Continue to follow the rest of the prompts from there.
    At the final dialogue box click Finish and it will launch HijackThis.
    Click on the "Do a system scan and save a log file" button. It will scan and then ask you to save the log.
    Copy and paste the log to this topic

    DO NOT have HijackThis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
