Is anyone using the nvidia system utility to overclock the nf7-s?
If so ...do you get the "overclocking - advanced" screen at all? Mine won't show up and I'm trying to figure out if this is a bug or what.

Anyway ...these are the two screens I get.

The BIOS on the nForce2 boards need to be updated to allow access to the advanced section of that utility.

Don't trust any of the info. As Thrax said, w/o the proper bios nothing works except FSB adjustemt and only forward.
Don't try to go back or it'll crash.

btw: inside sources suggested to me that new bios for the v1.x board will not support it.

No shat? :/ Useless until a bios is released that works.

Never even heard of it, csimon. Thanks for the heads up.

Guess it's time I update my 2-month old BIOS and check out this utility, though I guess I'd need an even newer BIOS than is available for it to work properly. I guess I'll just wait until another BIOS comes available. :)

Looks interesting. I don't know if I would trust it to actually change any settings in the bios... ;)

I think it would be handy right now ...I'm at 11.5x221@2546mhz and I'd like to see if I can get more cpu less fsb out of it but I've probably rebooted a few thousand times in the past 4 days ...something will give soon (like my old quantum for starters)

    It a piece of junk.
At least until it is supported in BIOS by Abit.
Until then it cannot be used for anything but system info.

Great idea, I guess but the lack of support makes this program rather pointless.
    At the moment that is.
