Having trouble with a sound driver.

I'm working on a Systemax computer. 2 Ghz Celeron, 256 MB, 40 GB hard drive, Windows XP Home. This computer proudly advertises that it is "AOL optimized", that's probably why it's such a POS!!!

Did a full reformat / reload of XP Home, got everything installed and working with no real problems... EXCEPT the sound system!

According to CPU-Z 1.40, it's a Foxconn 651-M03 motherboard with an SiS 651 chipset. It also says SiS 651/962L in the same line as the model.

It says the southbridge is "LPC bridge", and the sensor(?) is an ITE IT8705. Phoenix BIOS, Version 6.00PG 6/28/2004.

I downloaded a half dozen drivers that were supposed to work from driverguide, but none did. Some started to install but then came up with an error screen. They all has "12112" in their ID number, and one was 12111.

Any idea on drivers for this thing?

I suppose I could throw a cheap sound card in it and let it go at that, since it'll be a kid's game playing computer, but I'd like to fix it right.
