Hi - I have Encarta 2004 Standard and 2002 Deluxe on a WXP Pro that is offline
Every time I try to access the deluxe version I get explorer screen saying the page cannot be displayed - saying it may have been removed or had its name changed - all Encarta files are still where they have always been with same name. Also Encarta internal homepage for some reason desires connection to server?
Ran anti spywares anti viruses - nothing
Is there a way to fix this without having to re-install - and kill the updates?

I doubt it - diagnosing a problem with a particular product like this rarely goes well. You'll likely need to reinstall at a minimum. You might try CCleaner after the uninstall to get anything extra hanging around.

And I also have about 7 full good ol space taking "paper:confused::eek:" encyclopedias!

As a writer I can never seem to have enough access to information.
