OK...lets start w/ legend:

DT - Desktop
LT - Laptop
HW - Hard Wired
WL - WireLess

Now....thats out of the way....

My DT can see the LT, but the LT cant see the DT. Now the DT just sees it but when I click to open it it tells me it cant find it!....

The LT sees nothing....Both are on the net through a router, but the DT is HW, while the LT is WL....

Whats the catch?...where is the freakin click i am missing!

u know what, i have the same exact problem........ and i tried fixing it.

weird thing is, we have 1 Desktop and 2 laptops and both the desktop and the laptop#1 see eachother but laptop#2 is like retarted

i just gave up. Id be happy to hear the answer to.

Well then we are exactly the same....My wifes LT is WL and works great so I too have 2 LT's and only one of them works right!....lol

Have you shared folder on each PC?
All I did was share something and run the wizard. 2PCs wired, 1PC WL, 1LT WL. All fine.

Firewalls play a big part in this. You will need to configure all Firewalls appropriately. As a test, shut down all Firewalls, temporarily, and all the computers should see each other.

Sharing was on for the LT...I use it when workiing from a satallite office sometimes and run off wireless there....Howerver it is fixed now...Once again

Thx YAD...even through the pain, rejection and name calling you prove your worth...

I didnt have all the necessary protocol installed on my DT....which still doesnt make sense that my wife's LT worked WL...and mine didnt...but now after installing the protocols...all is working fine...
