USB not working

Hello!

Chipset SiS 963/963L 648FX, Windows XP SP1.
I'm trying to use my computer's usb-port for read my flash-memory, Windows find this device but couldn't recognize it. I've tried read this device in another computer - working without any problems.

Help me, please.

    Have you a) tried that device in a different usb port on that computer b) tried a different usb device in that port?

    Thrax has it on the nose here, as usual. SP2 includes several different enhancements for USB including the ability to run USB2.0 devices.

    You should be updated to SP2, anyway for security reasons. Get that done, and let us know where it leaves you with this issue.

    Case port or Board port?

    Seen case ports with the data + & - lines reversed, every USB device was unrecognized when inserted...
