Cant connect to administrative share on other workgroup computer.

edited July 2007 in Science & Tech
I have a network set up in my home. I was trying to access the administrative share on computer2 from computer1 today and could not. The funny thing is that I frequently access the administrative share on computer1 from computer2. Go figure. Both computers are running XP pro.
On computer1 when I press Start then Run I am typing:

\\computer2\c$

After hesitating a few moments I get the following dialog box:

Connect to computer2
User name:
Password:

Here I am entering in the username and password for the administrative account on computer2 and this is what happens. I get a dialog box which states the following:

\\computer2\c$ is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.

Multiple connections to a server or shared resource by the same user, using more than one user name, are not allowed. Disconnect all previous connections to the server or shared resource and try again.

After browsing around on the web and reading some articles I have enabled NetBIOS over TCP/IP on both computers and nothing changed. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this?

Was it a firewall issue or something else?
