Computer Won't Connect!
I can't do anything without my internet!!!
(ironic that i'm posting ain't it?)
Ok, here's the deal. I turn the computer on one day and i have no internet...
So i spend who knows how long on the phone with Comcast (my ISP) and HP (my computer manuf.) and they couldn't fix it... They did some things which seemed like it helped but i'm not sure...
On my desktop, i uninstalled and reinstalled Norton and it worked, to a degree. (none of my computers can connect through my router at all.) I checked the ip address of the computer, as one of the people (on the phone) had told me to. It was completely wrong... There wasn't anything bad about the number but it wasn't the same one that i had previously, and Comcast said that there's no reason it should have changed.
Now, I'm connected directly to the internet with my desktop... It won't connect through my router at all... And my laptop, the major problem, won't connect by any means...
I think that's detailed enough. Anybody that has any idea, please help! I need both of these computers to be up and running, connected to the internet...
