sound wont work!

ok so i reinstalled XP and now i dont have sound. it was working perfectly before i re installed it. i dont have the CD.. what can i do? and when i play a sound in WMP it says that i dont have a sound driver.. help please

    manufacturer- dell inc.
    model- 0jC474

    need anything else?
