Jeff Veasey, the guy who started GameFAQS.com back in 1995(!) is feeling a little too old to be in the gaming press, and announced his resignation, according to <a href="http://arstechnica.com/journals/thumbs.ars/2007/07/20/the-founder-of-gamefaqs-to-step-down-its-time-to-show-some-respect">ArsTechnica</a>.

GameFAQS is an amazing site. Twelve continuous years on the web is nothing to scoff at, and I'm sure many of you have used his site over the years, sometimes without even realizing it. I know GameFAQS has saved me tons of hours of frustration throughout my gaming career. Kudos and good luck, Jeff :)

The site will still be up right? I love GameFAQs and use it regularly because I'm lazy.

The site should be "business as usual" according to Jeff. He claims nobody will even notice his absence.
