Slicing & Dicing Adobe Photoshop

edited July 2007 in Internet & Media
Well this is my first post, so firstly i'd just like to say hello :)

Onto my question.. Having just created a website layout in Adobe Photoshop, and having sliced it, i'm not quite sure on what to do next.

This is really the first time i've ever done a website layout, and especially in Photoshop, so i'm in need of help, can anybody help me please?

Basically just goto "Save Optimized As" under the file menu, select "Images Only" and save it to a folder of your liking, then code the site with those images... or you could save as HTML and images and just change/fix the code from the html file it creates.

There's more to it though if you want, you could also save each slice in different ways such as some could have more compression than others, some could be gifs while others are jpegs.
