spooldr & maximus :( Help Please!

ironic that i would post the maximus virus while watching gladiator on TNT!

anyway, if someone could please help me fix my father's computer ... im pretty sure he clicked one of those "you received a card from a friend" emails that have been going around lately and i've reached the extent of my computer knowledge.

    Hi!

    Your log is clean.

    What firewall do you use?

    Using Windows Explorer (to get there right-click your Start button and go to "Explore"), please delete these folders (if present):

    C:\Program Files\fsupport

    Please do a scan with ESET Online Scanner
    Note: The scan will only work with Internet Explorer
    • Once you are on the ESET site, check the box "Yes, I accept the Terms of Use" and click Start
    • Accept the ActiveX by clicking the yellow bar at the top
    • Install the software when prompted
    • Read the Welcome notice and then click Start to download the necessary components
    • When download is complete, make sure Remove found threats stays UNchecked
    • Click Start to beign the scan
    • Once the scan is completed, you can close it.
    • The results found here: C:/program files/esetonlinescanner/log.txt. Please, post that log back here.
