Qualcomm denied veto in patent struggle

As we reported here, any devices harboring Qualcomm chips are now banned in the US due to infringement of key Broadcom patents. LG followed up on this little blunder by vying to end the ban as can be seen here. Now, Qualcomm has reached the end of its line by requesting President George W. Bush veto the ITC's ban on their ICs. President Bush has refused to get involved, which leaves Qualcomm with precious few avenues to pursue.
