new 85Wh, 8-cell battery, 2 months old. Comes with charging cable. Works great, wife wants a new laptop - "the ones that have colors"
I liked this so much I had my work buy the exact same one for me. I've installed Ubuntu linux on mine, works great in dual-boot with WinXP. I'd be happy to install WinXP, Ubuntu or dual-boot for the buyer. WXGA (widescreen LCD) is very usable, despite its advertised size. (WXGA is widescreen format. You get a smaller laptop with a wider screen - the tradeoff is you scroll up and down instead of having to scroll side to side!)

RAM installed-- 1GB DDR SDRAM
Hard drive-- 40 GB IDE Internal
CD / DVD type-- DVD+RW
Removable storage type-- None
